SG Luxury Design work as sales agents for a number of factories and negotiate and manage the sale on behalf of the factories directly with trade (interior designers and architects).
Almost all the furniture we sell is made from scratch in UK factories. A small number of items and in particular the accessories are made in Europe by small artisanal factories.
In the first instance all we need from you is an image (drawing or photograph) showing us the inspiration for the piece you would like to create. We then analyse the best way to produce this and return to you with a quote and amount of fabric needed.
No, we work with several factories who all have areas and styles which they specialise in. No one factory can be experts in all fields. Based on the design we commission the factory whose skills best match the requirement.
On average we aim to delivery within 5-7 weeks of receipt of the order and fabric. There are exceptions to this however, based on the different materials required. For instance something with an exotic wood finish, or a particular style of metal leg might take a couple of weeks longer.
Our aim is to provide you with a quote within 24hrs of receiving your request. Sometimes this might take a little longer (during busy periods or if the design is sufficiently complicated). In any instance when the quote is taking longer SG Luxury Design will always advise you.
Normally we can accept cancellations up to 1 week after placing the order.
Yes in most cases you may come to our production facilities to view the furniture before delivery.
We offer a 10 year guarantee on the framework and construction of all our pieces. This guarantee covers ‘normal use’.
As we work with several different factories based around the country we can’t guarantee you can see every single piece on offer through our collections. Though we do have some pieces available for public viewing in London so please ask.
If there are any minor elements the client is dissatisfied with we will make all effort to rectify. However, if it is the style or the fabric the client is unhappy with then unfortunately due to the expense and time in manufacturing we can not offer a returns service.
Yes we are fully capable of customising any design to meet your unique needs.
To place an order with SG Luxury Design we would ask for 50% deposit against a profroma invoice. Payment can only be accepted by bank transfer. The remaining 50% balance payment is due just before delivery.
Yes absolutely. We have terrific logistic partners whom can carry out a white glove delivery service anywhere in mainland UK.
Yes we can. Please get in touch with your specific details and we can quote accordingly.
At this stage we don’t. All our pieces are priced up using your own fabric which you will need to supply to us. If you would like us to quote for the fabric you would like to use we can also supply this.
Yes. In instances where your fabric has not been treated for use in UK we can quote for usage of an interliner. This may only be permitted to be used under UK law when the fabric you are using is 75% or more naturally occurring fibres.
Not all sofas have the correct design to be adapted into sofa beds, but the vast majority can. Please get in touch for more information.
